Size:
Toddler (30-45 lbs), 17.5" x 23", 4x8x4 (layers of fabric across the diaper)
Features:
OsoCozy Indian Prefolds are diaper service quality, 100% cotton twill weave that are soft, durable and highly absorbent. These are made in Pakistan with luxurious Indian cotton. These diapers are the rave of the cloth diapering community. Because they are unbleached they have a natural ivory cotton color to them. As with all prefolds these will shrink 5-10%. Wash several times before use to make them fully absorbant.
Wondering if you should go with Indian prefolds or Chinese prefolds?
Indian prefolds benefits:
- Softer cotton
- Unbleached diapers wash up quicker (3 washes)
Indian prefolds drawbacks:
- May wear out faster than Chinese prefolds.
- Lighter weight thread is used when sewing the ends of the diapers so the thread may wear out faster than the fabric does.
Chinese prefolds benefits:
- Heavier duty stitching
- Due to being made of a heavier-weight fabric and stitched with a thicker thread,
Chinese prefolds will probably stay nice longer than Indian prefolds.
Chinese prefolds drawbacks:
- May pill up more than the Indian prefolds.
- These diapers are still soft by they are definitely rougher than the Indian prefolds (when washed and dried in the same load)
- It takes 7-10 hot wash cycles to make an unbleached Chinese prefold usable and absorbent.
Birdseye Flats
- These old fashion cloth diapers are made of soft 100% Birdseye cotton. 27 by
27 inches and 1 layer thick. This is the original cloth diaper still used in
many countries. These are a one size fits all diaper that requires folding
to properly fit baby.
- This diaper also makes great dish towels, cleanups, burp cloths, lap pads,
changing pads, bibs, wash cloths and baby wipers. Because these diapers are
only one layer thick, they dry quickly on your clothes line or in your dryer.
- Use with pins or Snappi fastener and any type of diaper cover. These diapers
are far and away the least expensive way to comfortably diaper your baby.
