Imse Vimse Organic Training Pants
|
|
|
|
|
Imse Vimse Training Pants are functional and stylish and are made with organic cotton. Kids love the trim and comfortable fit. Organic cotton knit outside with two layers of absorbent organic cotton terry on the inside, and one inner layer of PUL. ImseVimse training pants protect clothes from getting wet when small accidents happen. Recommended for day-time use only.
Tips: For older children and heavy wetters, increase absorbency by adding one of our organic diaper liners. For extra protection, try adding a diaper cover for nap-time or as needed.
Washing Care: For best results, turn inside out, wash on warm, hang dry. No bleach, no fabric softeners.

I bought the Extra Large for my son. He is just about 29lbs with a 17" thigh and about a 17.25" waist. These have the best and most generous fit out of the three brands I have purchased. (imse vimse, blueberry and eco-posh). They had a snug enough fit around the thigh to keep in pee, but loose enough to easily pull on and off. I definitely didn't worry that his parts may be smooshed in this pair.
I wasn't sure how absorbent they would be, but they are exactly as advertised. Better even. They definitely hold a full pee without getting the clothes wet. Actually, I couldn't tell that they were wet from feeling the outside of the trainer. The only way I knew was by feeling the trim around the leg.
For our use, these were too absorbent, but I can't fault them for that. I want something that stops puddles on the ground, but are damp to the feel and make it uncomfortable for my son. He has been cloth diapered and wet cloth against his skin is something that he is used to so simply feeling wet on the inside wasn't enough for him.
They will be perfect for us on car trips or outings where I really don't want his clothes getting wet/damp. I also think that they will be great for naps once he stops drenching his diaper while he sleeps.
Also, no real special instructions on washing so they can go in with his regular laundry - yeah!

We have three pairs of the farm print. These training pants are great! I love that they are organic and super cute! They hold more than Gerber but not as much as a diaper would. If your child is wearing pants and has an accident it will soak through but not quite as badly as thinner Gerbers would. I do wish they were cheaper I'd buy more!

My son used these from 17 months old until about 2 years old. They worked really well. Even with a full pee, his clothes only got a little wet. I abused them as I didn't wash them often enough, but they held up well and will be passed down to his little brother

My daughter treats these like big girl underpants and they catch small accidents, which is perfect for around the house training. And I LOVE the cute farm animal prints.
