The Imse Vimse Soft Cover is a polyester knit laminated. This cover keeps baby dry, but is breathable and still allows air circulation. It is extremely soft, pliable, and adjustable. The soft velcro makes for easy diaper changes and eliminates the use of pins.
These covers are new and improved. The front velcro panel is now sewn down.

Newborn: 0–1 months, 9–13 lbs/4–6 kg
Small: 1–3 months, 11–17 lbs/5–8 kg
Medium: 3–6 months, 15–22 lbs/7–10 kg

Run large, beware!

These covers run VERY large. I got an XL for my 16 month old 25 lb toddler, and there is no way they are even close to fitting. I would say it would fit with tabs touching at about 30lbs. I was also expecting it to be very soft and pliable, and was dissapointed. It felt like any other PUL cover to me. I might try an organic IV cover in the future, but I will remember to size way down.

I bought a size newborn and a medium for my baby. I really like this wrap style cover because it covers fitteds well and the velcro makes for a snug fit. I used GMD Infant Fitteds and greensproutbaby fitteds under these. I've also used trifolded prefolds.

Best newborn cover

Yes
We used prefolds until our daughter was about 3 or 4 months old and this was by far our favorite cover. The shape of this cover made for a good fit and the leg gussets really contained those crazy newborn blow outs. If we decide to have another baby, I will sell my other NB covers and buy only these.
