Breastfeeding Basics
Learn the basics of breastfeeding and avoiding common challenges. Taught by Leah Jolly, IBCLC, mom of 4 breastfed boys. She is passionate about helping moms and babies breastfeed successfully. Her work with La Leche League inspired her to go one step further and become certified as a lactation consultant. She is co-owner of Bay Area Breastfeeding and Education, a private practice lactation consulting business serving the Houston area.
Meet the Doula
Meet the Doula is a chance to meet local doula's, find out what a Birth / Postpartum Doula is, and what how they can help you. They will talk about your rights and options, as well as provide basic information about preparing for birth, things you can do (that they help with during birth) and what happens after the baby is born. They are always open to answering any questions you have, but they do not give medical advice. Dads are always welcome too! Taught by Tina, Tara, and/or Trina - Birth Doulas.
